Pizza Night with Walt

Our story...

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina many volunteers have served New Orleans, but a dedicated few decided to stay and continue the work of restoring a community by starting a community center.

At the same time in a home in southwest Florida, another storm was brewing in the form of oxycotin. That lead to a man ending an 8-year addiction in the New Orleans Mission. There he was introduced to members of this spiritual community, The Gathering. They took him under their wings and introduced him to a new way of life.

In the wake of our most recent storm, COVID-19, The Gathering has looked for new ways to bring in revenue in order to continue serving our community. That same man volunteered to bake and sell his bagels in order to give back to his community.

The selling of these bagels will provide needed income to The Gathering and allow them to continue to serve the community in many ways. I would like to introduce you to Benevolence Bagels.
